Since the pandemic began, Canada Post has followed the guidance of public health authorities and made the safety of our employees and customers our top priority.

On the advice of Peel Public Health, Canada Post has temporarily closed one of the shifts at our Gateway East processing facility in Mississauga, Ont. after a number of employees tested positive for COVID-19. Public Health says this is the most effective way to contain further spread at this stage.

Given the significance of the Gateway facility, we are evaluating and adapting our existing contingency plans to manage the impact on customers. More details will be available soon. At this point, customers can expect shipping delays.

You can track your item and check the latest shipping status at canadapost.ca or using our mobile app. Our call centre agents will not have any further information. Check here for regular updates.

Thank you for your patience as we continue to prioritize the safety of our employees and the communities that we serve.
